If you have read other books, you already know that how they come from a family of educators. So many of success i this marketing did not like traditional education. Although they have in other employment also the traditional world of education bored them and they went through the motions of being a students and graduates, but rarely was they challenged or interested in what they were required to study.
One of the friend graduating from school, he jointed the U.S. Marine Corps and was accepted into the U.S. Navy Flight Program at Pensacola, Florida. The Vietnam War was on and there was an urgent need to train more pilots. While a student pilot, he found the type of education that excited and challenged him. Most of he have heard the overused click, “ turning caterpillars into butterflies.” Well in flight school, that is exactly what they do. When he entered flight school, he was already a commissioned officer, having graduated from a military academy. But many of the students entering flight school were fresh from civilian colleges and did resemble caterpillars. Being the era of the hippies, there were some very strange characters standing there in their in their civilian clothes, ready to begin a life-changing education program. If they survived the training, two to three years later, they would emerge as butterflies, i.e., pilots ready to take on the rigors of some of the toughest flying in the world.
The movie Top Gun, starring Tom Cruise, was about the best of the caterpillars that became butterflies. Just before going to Vietnam. My friend too was stationed in San Diego, California, where the Top Gun school is located. Although he was not a good enough pilot to be considered for the prestigious school, the energy and confidence displayed by the young pilots in the movie was the way most of us felt as we prepared to go to war. We changed from scruffy young men who could not fly. … to being young men who were trained and ready to face challenges most people would rather avoid. The change he observed in myself and in my fellow student pilots is what I mean when I say “life-changing education.” Once I finished flight school and left for Vietnam, my life was never the same. I was not the same person who entered flight school.
Years after flight school, many of my fellow pilots went on to become very successful in the world of business. When we get together and re-tell old war stories, we often remark that it was the training we received in flight school that had a tremendous impact on our business success today. So when I speak of life-changing business education, and speak of education powerful enough to change a caterpillar into a butterfly. When you look into the educational plan of a network marketing business. So it has been recommend an educational plan that has the power to make that much of a difference in your life.
